Of all the shirts, I’ve purchased from Self-Care Shirts, this one’s my favorite so far. The message is near and dear to me and will always be pertinent. I wore it in my therapy sessions with clients today. It’s soft, high quality and true to size. Self-Care Shirts gives back to the community and the messaging serves to unify others by reminding us that mental health is just as important as physical health.
I purchased this for myself. For years I was made to feel I was too much because of my emotions, feelings. Now I know that I wasn’t too much. The rooms were just too small. I was made too feel that I wasn’t normal. I have discovered that there are no normal people. Each of us has different personality quirks. Just many won’t accept that is true!

I have probably 10 sweaters from this company. I’m a neurodivergent therapist with significant sensory issues who runs very cold. These sweaters are perfect sensory wise for me. Due to that, and my office always being freezing for someone who runs cold, they have become my work uniform. My clients and myself love the adorable sentiments on all the shirts. And I love the fact it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing clothes at work. I highly recommend this company not only because their products are adorable and perfectly comfy if you’re particular about that thing, but they donate to two projects I love. Amazing company. Love the design, feels very cheerful. Great how it spans the front of the shirt, looks better than ones that only have text at the top.
I was trying to decide whether or not to get this shirt- it is pretty edgy. But then I heard that someone gave a bad review about it on an ad, saying it was inappropriate. This person was a therapist. Well, I am a therapist and I have childhood trauma and I believe it is spot on. (I am guessing they don’t have childhood trauma!) And so my response to the other therapist was to simply buy the shirt. I love it. And like my other Self Care shirts, it is well made and soft and states my truth!
I absolutely love this sticker! I put it on my car’s bumper! Hopefully someone sees it when they need it most!

I love my acrylic sign. As someone with CPTSD due to childhood trauma, I need this reminder every day. I love Self Care Shirts and have bought several things from them.
